Title: The curse of the trailer
Post by: radiomarty on 02, May, 2010 - 20:42:17
I'm beginning to suspect my super dooper trailer is causing a few problems - Took a perfect Goldfinger to Brooklands on it and upon return it was suffering from motor slip - today I took the well run 'Archie' to Milton Keynes on it and the 3 speed gears became a problem - I am now suspecting that the lack of suspension on this very light trailer is the issue - may look at making it a bit heavier. Don't worry though both the beastie's are now fixed and back to there former glory. C5ing - when there's a challenge -someone has a solution !!!!!

Try strapping it down to wooden blocks on the chassis/body tub rather than down on the wheels if you dont already.

I've always been lucky up to now and been able to borrow a van from work. Hope you don't keep having problems.
