That was a common issue when you get a set of mirrors it came with 2 sets of LH brackets I have the same issue with my last set. I have had some blank ones from Chas they are ok as a temperary or permanent solution.

Sorry Lance

im actually starting to made the brackets in cast aluminum..
they will look exactly as the original one or high polished..
but at the moment i only have the left side..
therefore i need to find the right side brackets in mint or very nice condition..

and .. yes im taking orders already but only for the left side..

Cheers

Robert, just a thought and certainly not a criticism, but I'm guessing that the original brackets for the Sinclair mirrors are designed to allow the mirror to fall off on contact without causing any damage to the bodyshell.

I'm assuming that if you clamp the mirror to the bodyshell too strongly then in the event of a prang either the mirror and/or bodyshell will potentially suffer greater damage than if it were allowed to "pop off".

Polished aluminium will look really cool though  8)

Hi BooBoo
im actually looked about the aluminium stenghtness "hope its the right word" against the original plastic.
since the tabs are quite thin is should be any problem ..
