Chain Tension
« on: 03, January, 2014 - 16:05:41 »
My C5 has a chain tensioned on but the tensioner slips off the chain with the slightest bump or increased in speed.
Are there any better replacements available? Would it be ok to fit a new chain with less links so it had more tension?

If so is there a way of taking the chain off?

Thanks

Dan

Just ask Chas for one of his tensioner kits.  I've got 2 and they're as solid as a rock, never let me down yet.

Try a new chain first, your old, perhaps original item, may have stretched over time.
