What a day ! It has to rate as amongst the very best C5 events ever. It all came together superbly - good company, excellent weather and lots of laughs.

The M-B track was a real blast, and the skid pan was very memorable..... :o ;D , not to mention the hill climb. Well done to Ray for making it furthest up the hill.

But for me, having Adam Harper pop along and say hello was the icing on the cake. A big thank-you to him for bringing along some goodies and also providing some servicing tips - the "how to properly set up the rear brake" session was very worthwhile.

So a big thank-you to all those that turned up to make it such an enjoyable event. It looks as though Brooklands were also impressed, we've been invited back to next years event.

Some piccies from the day ;

I'm sure there are a few more photo's still to come  8)

We were so busy enjoying ourselves we didn't seem to take that many .

For those that missed this event, don't worry - I'm sure when we return next year it will be just as amazing  ;)

For all of you that need more pictures there will be a DVD of the day.
My son David was C5alive's cameraman for the day.
He produces video clips and DVD’s professionally.
The DVD will be available from C5ALIVE shop and should be edited in 3 to 4 weeks time.
You can see his tripod in some of the hill climb pictures.
Video of the race, hill climb, V formation of C5’s alone the original banked track plus lots more from the day.
I will keep you informed on the forum as soon as I have a copy. ;)

Cool, have to keep an eye out for that.

That C5 with roof looks interesting. Is that a custom one-off ?

I,m looking forward to the next meet to see what falls off of my C5 next time!!!. :-)
I thought it was a great day out (even tho I had a face like a stormy day for a while!!)
Bloomin, chain tensioner!!!
I was gutted that i didn,t get to do the hill climb but theres always next year, I,ve decided to get the new brake shoes and then over winter to do a total strip down repainting the chassis and then a over haul of every worn bit I find.
I seriously thinking of figuring out a way to fit a disc brake to the front wheel so Karl I going to need a spare front fork to carry out a few experiments if you have an old one kicking around.

On the way back on sunday eve I went back to steves for a bite to eat and his brother alex was seriously taken with J5 ( he went scooting around the streets for ages) and I think we may have a new member along shortly.

Thanks again to everyone.
Paul
