Event will be held at 8 Neville Close,Saham Toney,Thetford,Norfolk.
(We are not near Thetford by the way but just outside the small town of Watton.)
Take the Swaffham road,at the roundabout in Watton High street.
Bear right at the church, and take the second left, then left again.
Arrive between10am and 11am.we hope to leave about 11.30.But no rush.
Run will be aprox 13 miles,so bring two batteries if you can.
For those with sat navs, IP257HR.
See you on the day.

Batteries.
I have a couple of people coming on the Norfolk run ,that don't yet have C5s of their own.
I have sorted two spare C5s out to loan them but I may have a problem finding enough batteries for them.
I anyone has a few spare car type batts they could bring along ,that would be great.
Ubmobile.
Well, after help from two C5 enthusiasts, the Ubmobile has been slightly modded, and so the body no longer sits hard on the motor.
We tried test driving it at night, and were in hysterics!
As the reflection from the pod, onto the canopy, made it impossible to see anything.
I gave it another test drive on Saturday around my village, and it seems to run fine.So for the first time,it will be taking part in the run.
I have also sorted the problem out that I had after the Worthing run.
My C5 would not move backwards.
I had hosed it down to remove the sand that had accumulated from the coast run,and re greased the bearings but the problem seems to have been with sand ingress to the sprocket.Anyway I pumped plenty of oil around and it seems to have fixed it.  Hopefully?
I have also arranged for the sun to shine on the day of the run but the only thing I could not change was the amount of cloud between us and it!
See you on the day,
Ray.

"Dave" is available , but unfortunately I've no means of getting him to this meeting  :-[

We're using my MPV for this meet, and not hiring a van. It only holds two C5's & I'm bringing "Voodoo" & "Moneypit" for me and Angie, so sadly  I cant fit "Dave" in.

If you can get him there (..and bring him back of course  ;D),you are welcome to use him.

Alan - whats happened mate ? If the control box has failed, is it worth sending it along to Martin to see if it's fixable ?  :-\

Ray - I've got the quick release battery clamps you need, if there's anything else just let me know  8)

Andy - I'll make sure I bring along some stripes

Also I will be bringing my copy of the Brooklands DVD for us to watch at the end of the run  ;D

Another fab run & top laugh  ;D Eight of us out and about on a cold, wet winters day was a good turn out ... everyone was a star  8)

Highlights included Andy overtaking a red Ford Ka on the move  :o :D - outstanding behaviour  :P

Plus Trevor managing to peddle and use up 3 batteries before reporting a smell of burning towards the end of the run - only to discover the rear brake was locked on solid  :o  he must have leg muscles like Arnie Schwartzenegger , top effort  8)  He found the C5 much quicker with the rear brake released     ;)

Wizbat managed a pitstop repair that would have impressed an F1 team , replacing a punctured rear tube in record time !

Hopefully Pauls introduction to "c5-ing" left a good impression, he seemed to be enjoying himself - although that could have been wind  ;)

But top honours for the day must surely go to Jason for piloting the Ubmobile round the entire route -a brave hombre  :)

Cheers to Ray for hosting the day and providing the tea, coffee and hot sausage rolls.

Now to work out when/where for the next run !
