The "May" edition came out today, 1st April so make sure you buy the correct copy - my local newsagent was still trying to palm me off with a March edition (which would have been out on 1st Feb !).

The c5alive feature is on page 109 and covers 4 pages, I think it is without doubt the finest article about C5's I've ever read  8).

As an added bonus there is also a full page article about the Ayrton Senna C5 right at the back of the magazine (page 266).

I was going to add that I had found the same article Karl, looks like there might be a chance that one of the jps C5's could appear one day from under a pile of junk  :'(

yep - I'm really chuffed with the article, shame they airbrushed out the c5alive website address, but then you can't have everything.

I still think it's the most supportive feature ever written about Sinclair C5's, Sam has done an excellent job  8)

You said Karl its a shame the web site address was airbrushed out, but I can still read the web address on the side of the C5 in the picture on page 113, plus on page 187 there is a small article about an electric scamp car for sale and they do have C5 Alive's web address  :)

It was this article which made me buy my C5. My dad brought a copy of the magazine home one day and showed me the article. I'd been looking into them before, but with this i just thought "why on earth not" and bought it from eBay a couple of days later.

Shame I didn't buy it before, I'm only 5 miles up the road...

The article was superb, but it goes without saying it would have been even better to have had a few more join us using their own C5's .

But the even better news is that, as you've said yourself, the article inspired another c5 owner - which is what this forum is all about; keeping the c5 alive !

Just received a CD through the post from Tony, the photographer who worked on this article.

It contains all the pictures taken on the day that were not used for the magazine - some really good ones !  8)

Hopefully Ray and Plod you have got yours by now as well.

Alan1310 - email me your address and I'll forward yours on to you mate  :)  I couldn't find your details when I contacted Tony..,so I had your CD sent to me.

I have passed on our appreciation for the CD's and asked him if it was ok to use some of them for posting here, this is the reply ;

Hi Karl,
glad you like the pictures. I think it’s OK to use the pics on websites (is this a club site or a commercial one?) but we ask for a credit, something along the lines of ‘Photos © Tony Baker/Classic & Sports Car’
Cheers
Tony.

So have a sort through and post your favourite one guys  8)
