Sinclair c5 - enquiries pack 1985
« on: 17, July, 2009 - 15:35:55 »
Met a nice gent at the recent Ardingly event who said he remembered sending off for the Sinclair C5 information pack in 1985.

Although he never went ahead and purchased a c5, he did keep the information pack.

It is in pristine condition and he has kindly given it to me for display at the C5-25 event ;

I am really chuffed  8)

I am looking to add to my collection a sinclair pocket tv, the black watch, a sinclair calculator and a zike, also i keep looking for old toys from the 70's/80's like a big trak and a mb simon etc. It will take many years to complete, but i would like to pick them up at the best prices from ebay and car boot sales.

..sad thing is, my brother used to have the Sinclair TV, the Big Track and an MB Simon. No idea what happened to them ,probably thrown away or jumble sale etc. Wish we had just stuck them in the loft  ::)  :(

I have seen them go on e-bay for £150.00 upwards for a really nice one, but i seen one's for restoration go for between £50.00 to £75.00, I not after a mark 3 chopper, but dont mind otherwise, really i'm after one for repair and dont want to spend more than £50.00.
many thanks Alan.
