Wiring kits *** Now back in stock **
« on: 07, March, 2010 - 10:11:06 »
I know some people out there are waiting on the wiring kits, so I thought a quick apology for the delay was in order.

I'm a bit snowed under at the moment so they've been placed on the back-burner.

All the raw materials are here I'm just waiting for a spare day to sit down and start making them...

Just a curiousity, what amperage 4QD controller do you use?
And how much they going to cost?

If you need some help making them up I'm sure I could give it a bash... I rewired Alan1310's c5 in the dark, while it was raining.... The night before it needed using in your photoshoot!

This topic relates to the 12v wiring kits only.

We're not offering 24v kits for the time being.

Ah, my mistake.  Offer still stands though if you need a hand. (I'm alan1310's brother in law, by the way)

Many thanks for the offers of help - most appreciated.

Once I get my life sorted a bit better I'll see what I need and may well take you up on the offer  8)

RadioMarty , Plod and myself are going to have a "c5alive wiring kit" day one weekend in November to be held at RadioMarty's place.

(note:This will be the first Plod knows of this, coz I only managed to chat with RadioMarty about it at Brooklands....but Plod got volunteered in his absence  ;D)

So , although everyone has been waiting such a very long time for these, the wait is nearing an end - once we've managed to arrange a date that co-incides with all our shift patterns !

Cheers Mike, I'll clear it with radioMarty...it's his place we'll be invading ! Another pair of hands (more skilled than mine!) would always be useful  :)

Your more than welcome to join in the party but must warn you as a former production team leader is going to be a well laid out - automated - lean operation --- not!!!
