Chassis damage - check the front fork stem

Found this chassis damage on a c5 I'm restoring , not from my Rotterdam C5's , but one I purchased last year.



..Radiomarty and Scott (owner of Bluebird C5) have both found examples of this also so I've put this thread together and will link it to the Buyers Guide for future reference.

Some more piccies of the damage, followed by a different chassis that has been restored - to show the contrast 







I think the damaged one is repairable so won't be throwing it away just yet. Luckily I have a couple of spare chassis' so can carry on with the rebuild.

Someone has been bumping up the kerbs in that C5 I reckon
