Went to a family BBQ in Hunstanton and took a walk to the seafront. While passing some amusements we noticed some waste-ground with a pile of old batteries heaped together looking worst for wear, amongst them was a white original Sinclair battery calling out to be rescued.  Unfortunately our attempts to rescue it for our Sinclair memorabilia was unsuccessful due to the "temporary land owners" insisting it was going for scrap. If dad would 24v my Goldfinger I could do a drive-by rescue! (lol)   ;D   ::)   :o

Hmm temporary land owners is a a nice polite saying,s for pike, ies  with some spare tarmac on the back of the van ;D

Where abouts in Hunstanton, i will nip up there later with my SAS gear on and liberate it  ;D

No need for commando raids, there's a stack of original Sinclair batteries in my summerhouse. They're all dead, but I use them to weigh down the gazebo at events held on tarmac !

If you want one, just let me know  ;)

I wouldn't mind one just for display and my sinclair collection.   :P
