No picture of the luggage space.Wonder why not?
One word answer please.
What about Vauxhall Quality?.My Astra was knackered after 50000 miles of careful driving. The subsequent cars all did a minimum of quarter of a million miles each(Renault, Mazda)

MikeDX

The specs of that thing look amazing.. Be interesting to see what the performance is like.

..might be that you got a "dodgy" one.

I've had a couple of Vauxhalls over the years and they've been quite good - especially liked the Carlton I had> Excellent tow car and very nicely built.

The Police have used Astras for years and they seem to cope well with 24hr abuse  ;D

In my city they building cars based on the Citroen cv 2 (the ugly duck)
they managed to make an electric version this year and expect to market it next year.

..a 2cv makes sense - very light and easy to work on.Whats not to love ? ;D

frankev

Imagine, this 25 kwh engine in your sinclair ;D
Makes you sell a lot of tyres, Karl  8)

wHATS NOT TO LOVE IN A 2cv? A side impact, thats what.

frankev

Well coverman,

In these cv2's they do have side impact bars,
http://www.robwolkers.com/newslettertwo/newslettertwo.htm
they look rather british, don't they.
They practically rebuild the whole thing on the original cv2 frame. They are sold as build yourself package or ready to go. Not bad if you look at all the beauty's they made. :o

coverman

Nothing wrong with a kit car properly bult compliant with SVA or whatave its been renamed now. I run one myself, but powered with rather more than 25Kw (200Kw actually).

frankev

I saw this top gear areal and the performance was astounding.
Mind you, mine example goes 0 to 60 in less then one minute  :D

Retro Andy

I look forward to when we have the Citroen electric vehicle in the show rooms, will be first for a test drive.

Retro Andy.

I am in the process of talking with these guys about the meeting next year.
The electric CV2 will be there, but i doubt if the prototype that looks like the Atom is build then. (if ever)
