Hurrah!  Many thanks for your good wishes guys...  As it happens, I didn't get another C5 unfortunately, but I did have a huge crate waiting for me outside.

I opened it up, and inside was a preview / evaluation / review version of a Sinclair X1      

Then I woke up!
