Im thinking of getting another cheap (ish ) C5 to tinker with and try out 24v
As i've never done anything with C5 electrics, is the 24v conversion a simple one ?

Is it a case of just fitting a controller inline between a pair of batteries and motor ( similar to what Marty is using on Goldmember ) , and then adding a twist grip , or is there a bit more to it ? ( told you i'm a novice  :D :D ). I understand the pod would become redundant.

My plan is to try to do it on a budget, and see how i get on .... atleast i've got nearly a year until the next AER  :D

i just converted mine to 24v if you take a basic controller you
Will blown you're engine...because it is doing to many amps...
or you will have to less power...

i took a basic controller and modified it a bit..
so it does not put more then 29amps on the motor.
doing some tests with it and do the "achterhoek-run"

after that you can buy it from me with a throttle for around 50,- pounds
excl shipping (from the netherlands)

if anyone is interested i will hear it!  8)

You'll have to keep us all posted on how your testing goes  :)
