Hi there I not sure who owned the red C5, I won it on eBay ...Do you have any photo's of the one you are talking about ...(I lost track of the owner)

still, at 36v you will reduce longlivety of the motor. at 36v it'll be running at 3 times the speed and drawing 3 times the amps, you'll also have to worry about over spin and burning out the motor also brushes arcing and eroding. in small bursts i suppose you might be able to escape these problems though.
