Thoughts On C5 Gearing.

I've been giving some thoughts to the C5 gearing. I had a 3 speed hub on #1, but this wasn't enough.
I have a 7 speed Nexus hub, but will this be enough with a trailer?
I also have a commercial 3 speed hub with a 7 speed cassette, alas only 21 gears.
In the IN I've read it possible to mod a 7 speed cassette to fit the 7 speed hub.
When I went to school 7 x 7 was only 49, I need MORE MORE more more ^{more more} _{more more.}
Ah! I've just had a stroke of genius, now if I fit a 7 speed cassette to the 7 speed hub, then fit a 3 ringer to the bottom bracket spindle I'll have ..............................................................................
