Hi, Ive always wanted a C5 since they were new but my dad thouht they were dagerous! as if !
well, i currently cant drive or ride a bike through ill health but i cant fall off a C5 and i dont need a driving licence for one!

The aim is to buy something cheaply and look at upgrading the speed with either a 24v kit or a new motor/controller setup and new drive system. I dont need to travel  any distance, 5 or 6 mles tops.

This needs to be a budget conversion as i currently have all my cash tied up in cars i cant drive.....

Hiya mate and welcome to the forum.

"Cheap" C5's are not impossible to find, some people here have had some really lucky finds but do be careful ! Some of the rare parts for C5's can be eye wateringly expensive leaving you spending more on a "bad" C5 than you would restoring a car 

Buy a good one though and you will find yourself in  whole new world of fun
