Had a great day out at Brooklands. We got home about 6.30pm.

Was good to meet a few more of the C5alive members ... although i still can't remember all the names  :D
Nice to see a great selection of C5's aswell as all the 80's gear : i'm sure we used to have a camera like that back then  :D

And well done to Umpa on the powerpoint setup  ;D

One of the best sights must have been seeing Adam Ant coming round the corner on a C5  :D

Definitely not an everyday sight  ;D

I also enjoyed watching them start up the Sopwith Camel bi-plane ,again not something you get to see every day  8)

..and those taking part in the VSCC trials were awesome - I didn't know those old cars could be driven so fast  :o

..although it was a shame we didn't get chance to meet up for a natter, I can understand how you never found the time.

The amount of stuff going on must have meant all you Brooklands staff were running around non-stop all day  8)

The VSCC trials were awesome to watch, and I bet some of those drivers are real characters  ;D

Retro Andy

May I say again, what a great day C5-25 was, it was really good to see everyone again and some new faces, thanks to Karl and Angie for a really amazing event, Umpa's informantion zone, and the cake and balloons all went towards a lovely day that I was pleased to be apart of. Looking forward to the rest of the meetings this year, here's some more pictures:-

Super photos.  Really wish I could've been there.

Any vids yet?

Karl

..some good piccies there mate. Thanks again for bringing along such a superb collection of 1980's gadgets  8)

Angie and I noticed that all our piccies seem to taken when its quiet - then the penny dropped. When it gets busy none of us have the time to take any piccies  ;D

techytype

i have to come clean people,

1) Kurt and i took a 'jolly' and drove round to the far side where Concord was parked, bombed about a bit then we came back.

i had dismounted and chatting by the clubstairs, but Kurt was still in his and took a real wigging of the marshal - sorry mate.

2) later i was talking to passing punters, doing my best to inform and guide them to the display upstairs, when the i assume local photographer turned up, oh dear he took photos of erm! - (please shhh! my C5).

as one of the C5 upstart newbs, i feel really really guilty, all those really far more worthy and longer owned and loved machines upstairs, and the really nice better ones parked below, and i get mine 'snapped'.

only saving grace was i was ot in it - i wonder if the members ever forgive me?  :-\

if anyone see's those pictures, i'll say sorry now and melt into a nearby pot hole.

regs (and really sorry)

I must admit, I thought there would be a few more piccies on here by now  :).
