I was out on my C5 today for about 1 hour and 6 people asked me about it  :o :o :o :o :o  .

But only 2 people out of the six new what it was  :o :-\

Depends if they were alive in the 80's... I was born in 1978 and I just about remember the launch, but most people younger than me wouldn't. They were huge press in '85, but after that they just became museum pieces and memories!

I got into a 5 Minute conversation with one man but I am sure you all have got into a longer conversation

I have noticed that people do like to stare and take videos and pictures and want to know more.  Most people who speak have heard of them but never seen one on real life.

Unless I'm at a show I usually ignore people who ask questions so I think my longest would be about 15 seconds with some tattooed yob who said it was "sick"... although I've been told that sick is a good thing(!)....

I think this is one of the joys of owning a C5 or one of the nightmares depending on how you view it.

When I go out in mine I expect it to end up being a social experience. People asking questions and wanting to chat. I love that but some won't.

I've been chased down a street by a whole group of kids (in good humour, just trying to have a look) and I'm often surprised how many think it's a brand new invention that I made myself.

C5 - the social cycle!

I don't mind people asking questions if I am just out on it for a test run  ;)

I have the C5alive sticker on mine

I must admit I've quite enjoyed talking to people when I'm out on mine. From the guy who rushed back into his house to get a camera so he could show his work mates, who would never believe he'd seen one other wise, to my neigbours young son who was desperate for a go and dragged his dad out from his house to show him.

similar thing happened when I delivered a C5 to Dan. His neighbour came out to take a few piccies  ;D

I'm the opposite... If I'm at a show then I enjoy talking to people, if I'm out for a ride it drives me insane being stopped every two minutes! I find just a gentle turn in their direction and a beep of the horn does the trick though ;-)
