The Brooklands Museum cycle festival has evolved into one of our main events of the year and is a firm favourite of mine. Sadly this year there will not be a chance to use the AMG test track but we will be given a larger "playpen" to ride about in and there will be the Test Hill challenge for those brave enough ! ElectricDave will be letting the c5000 loose up the hill which is always worth a look  8)

If you want to come along and exhibit your own c5 as part of our c5alive display you will get a free entrance ticket , which makes it quite a cheap day out. There is plenty of stuff on site to keep everyone amused, just take a look through the museum website to see what 's on offer such as vintage aircraft ( civil and military), cars, buses, motorbike & cycles plus an F1 simulator ,not to mention dambusters bouncing bomb prototypes etc etc. Bring the family along with your c5 and join us for a great day out and get nattering with other c5alive forum members. It's a chance to see the faces behind the forum profiles ....potentially shocking but well worth it  :o ;D

Some more details on the Brooklands Museum website;
http://www.brooklandsmuseum.com/index.php?/events/details/the-brooklands-cycle-festival/
..note the part about the kiddies "scooterthon"  8)

Let me know asap if you want to tag along, I'll need to get an idea of numbers so I can order enough tickets.

Great... There's going to be more MGF's than C5's lol! :-)

danny7147

I'm delighted to announce that there will be a prize on the day for the member managing to fit the most C5's into an MGF! Could be a close run thing with most competitors stating a target of 2 so far... The prize will be a tin of Tesco Value grease remover and a brillo pad... Useful when trying to squeeze C5's into spaces containing cloth trim ;-)

List for the tickets has been updated, anyone else wanting to join in please let me know soon  ;).

Hey Karl,

I don't need a ticket thanks

Nor do I (as a fellow Brooklands Trust Member)  but the list is also a useful way of working out who is coming along...a spare or two is always useful as well  8).
