We made it to Andy's place in one piece with no drama - the bike rack held firm and the bodyshell was delivered in as scruffy a condition as when it left, just covered in sooty diesel deposits  ::)

Todays run was absolutely superb - excellent weather and a brilliant route. First off though, a very big thank you to Andy and his family for looking after us. Excellent bacon butties mate  ;)

No exploding inner tubes this time, sum total of "incidents" was fairly minor - one slow puncture, a broken brake cable and a chain tensioner falling off. Plus Steve managed to eject his boot a couple of times  ;D

Ray wasn't too happy with his batteries which seemed to perform quite badly , but the Halfords leisure battery fitted to "Moneypit" performed surprisingly well - I thought it was on its way out but seems to have recovered a little.

Overall an excellent day out - really good fun  :D 8)

Some pictures from the day;

We also managed a visit to the "tin tabernacle" ;

Karl

A quick stop for ice creams gave us the chance to chat to a few people who gathered round to look at the C5's;

Lastly, my emergency stop (to avoid Steves discarded boot) left its mark on the road surface  :o;

I'm glad you had a good day Karl, it was really great to see you all again. The pictures are good and i had a lot of fun again messing about on our C5's even with the little drama's goes towards making the day enjoyable .

Thanks Andy for a great day out.
My C5 did not behave itself this time out,and I have warned it,that if it was not carefull,I will use another on the next event!
PS,he Queen had a quick spin in my C5 when you were not looking,and she loved it,so preparing one for her now!
Well she said she was the Queen"what does she look like"?
