Held every year at the South of England Showground, this historic vehicles rally is one of the biggest and best.

This year I've been told I can have more space to show as many C5's as like - which is quite a challenge.....

I'll be taking my mini-el and as many of my C5's as I can manage, any one care to join me ?

It is a two day event and I hope to be camping over night so that I can sample the contents of the beer tent...

Retro Andy

I am struggling to get along to many meetings so far this year due too work and very little spare time to enjoy myself, might try and bring family along on one of the days and say hello.

I fully understand mate, if you can make it it would be great to see you  :)

Have to give this one a miss as, unfortunatly, it's just a bit to far for me.

crying shame mate, would be nice to meet you  :)

..plus the show is awesome , especially for someone that likes cars  ;)

Karl

We have been given more space this year, the organiser of the micro car section said we can have as many C5's on display as we like  ;D He'd like to see a display of C5's similar to the Bournemouth run piccie (there were about 15 there ?).

Since it is a two day event there is also the option of staying overnight, which is what I am going to do. I'll be taking along the mini-el and four of my C5's , plus Steve hopes to be able to bring the big bus and his C5.

There will be loads of catering units for food etc, plus a CAMRA beer tent - what more do you need for a great weekend ?

Let me know if you want to come along, I'll need your car registration number for a car pass to be issued (best to send that via an e-mail  ;))

This will be our second "over-nighter" , but hopefully the weather will be a bit drier and calmer than the last time  :D

Karl

So far the list of people attending ;

Me (both days, staying Saturday night)
Angie (Saturday)
Steve (both days, staying Saturday night)
Umpa (Sunday)
Scott (both days,staying Saturday night)

Any others please let me know asap.

If I can get a C5 into my Cortina,I will bring that along.
I would like to stay overnight but not shure if that is practical with Sylvia???

Ray - They are holding the "pay and display" section again this year, so you will be able to arrive in your Cortina Estate and display it. Luckily enough it is apparently next to the microcar section where we will be located.

No worries umpa, to be honest I'm struggling to get additional car passes - which means anyone else who might want to come will have to pay at the gate to get in.

scott

hello karl, what time do we have to be at ardingly on saturday ?

We need to be on site fairly early, all set up ready for gates open at 10am.

Having said that, I'm hoping to be there for 0830 (ish) to get set up without having to rush.

Hi all - hope you have a great meet in Ardingly. We wish we could have got there but I am stuck on night shift ! PS Don't be too hard on the beer tent !!
