Karl

Kurt has something similar fitted to his c5.

They dont look too bad, especially considering the original kits are now virtually unobtainable...

Umpa

Now they dont look bad !!

And are within the style of the c5 too.  I have some original ones (ner ner) :)  but have not fitted them yet.

I might get a pair of those too and it the originals to the original C5 and these to my go to work C5.

Nice find plod !

Hi Plod - like these indicators - let us know how you get on as Matt would like them on his 'pimped' C5 when he gets one. Thanks for sharing the info.

Kurt

As Karl mentioned my indicators are a home made job. 'Jetpac' had at some stage had indicators but had been stripped out and only the back housings were left with no innards and broken lugs just glued on.

I used the original c5 indicator wiring instruction guide and made bulb holders for the back lights using 'festoon' bulbs and a holder (look like big glass fuses), as these lay flat and are nice and bright. The front indicators lights are off a mini metro and again used the original wiring loom with BA9 bulbs and holders. The flasher relay is a 12v generic motorbike one and I got a 'on', center off, 'on' switch from Maplins.

All in all they have worked quite well and are very visible.

I did find a company called Auto Electric Supplies and they have a 12v led indicator kit with everything you need including holders, bulbs, switches, wire and relay for £79. Not the originals, true but good working indicators.
