Just wanted to say big thanks to radiomarty for organising it, to karl + angie for the way-back refreshments and to everybody for making it such a great day. I'll certainly be along again!

I'm going to sit down with google maps and plan a route that we can do a full circuit. The journey back to willen today certainly proved it can be done quite quickly if we arent going the wrong way!

Hope to see you all at another run soon! :) :)

Well another great C5Alive run - great weather and good fun - we started by filming with the guy's for the BBC programme and then set off on the route - managed to get to the concrete cows and had a good reaction from one and all - Great to see Supergran and a special thanks to Mikedx for all the help with the route - Photo's attached :

Another excellent run  ;D

Good to see Chas piloting the supergran C5, and MikeDx on his maiden voyage  :D...plus I reckon Matt is a budding lewis Hamilton judging by the way he threw "Goldfinger" around those twisty bits. Fearless !

As with all the runs it wasn't without the fun of a few snags - a couple of punctures (RadioMarty and Chas) ,a throttle playing up on Voodoo and the relay sticking on "Moneypit" - before it fixed itself  8). Nothing we couldn't overcome  ;)

The filming went well and I was really chuffed with the surprise - but sadly you'll have to wait before I can reveal what I was given  :-X

A few of our piccies ;

No worries mate, on the c5alive runs you never leave a man (or girlie) behind  ;D :D :)

The Royal run is up next - which has a lovely downhill section that is always good for a giggle  ;D

(...and thanks for the little pressie, most appreciated  8))

I particularly enjoyed it when we were riding round the lake and I heard somebody say "Wow look at those! I want a ride in the kings chair!" (referring to supergran).

Next time we should hire them out. £10 per lap

An update regarding the filming that took place during this run;

"...The first episode goes out on Wednesday November 3rd, BBC1 at 7.30pm"

I do know that we won't feature in the first episode (there are six episodes in total), but I can't mention any more at this stage until we get the okay from the film company.

More news to follow as soon as I'm allowed to  8)

Karl

....probably the worst kept secret  ;D, but the filming that took place for this run is to feature in the new Wallace & Gromit series Wallace & Gromit's World of Invention
starting soon on BBC1. I'm told our c5's do feature,possibly in episode 2 (depends on the running order).

The clues to our involvement were on the forum;

....so thanks for helping to keep it all quiet before the official "launch" date by the BBC. I've seen some of the publicity stuff is already appearing in national newspapers, so we can go ahead and tell everyone about our involvement  8)
