Guys, probably for the best it went elsewhere.  Whilst this appears to be beautifully engineered, I used to work in the military aircraft business particularly in the areas of safety with jet engines.  Dont be fooled by the size of the engine, this requires specialist knowledge and appreciation of the dangers.   Imagine this thing exploding under your backside sending shrapnel through you!!!  Take a look on Youtube at tiny jet engines they use in model aircraft and in particular those videos where things go wrong.

I dont think anyone was thinking of using it on a run  .

It was tempting to buy the jet powered c5 for display at the various events we attend, but I cant see any other use for it other than as a collectors display piece.

Shudder to think what red tape and health & safety regs you'd need to satisfy if ever you wanted to fire it up at a show
