Hi Hammy- the right hand light's should be on full (assuming your battery is good) the left hand should have the two outer yellow light's lit until the button is pressed then the other light's will show the motor strain condition. Have you now connected via a battery and has this cured your control box buzz ?

hi
control box buzz was sorted once i used a battery instead of a charger, no problem. At the moment all the lights are on on both sides of the pod. Any suggestions for this?? Also the lights worked when tested on a charger but not once the battery was connected. Is there a possible fault or have i disturbed the wires??

With the lights on both sides does the motor run from the switch ???  Are any of the leds on the left flashing ?

Thinking about it, if you have lights on both sides, this normally happens when the brown wire to X5 in the control box is not attached to 12 volts, check the thin brown wire that comes from the battery connector, that may have come adrift.

Hi Hammy - what happens when you press the button for the motor ?- you may have done some damage running from a battery charger

Hi Hammy - if you sure that there is no problem with the wiring you may have caused some damage to the control box when using the battery charger. If you post it back to me I'LL do a check / repair (no cost as you have had it done once)

The worst thing the battery charger could have done would be roasting the 5v regulator, and that might have been on its way out anyway... Most chargers don't go very far over 14/15v (but 'boost start' chargers can go up to 18v)
