'Sticky' freewheel
« on: 11, December, 2012 - 21:38:09 »
Hi all,

My C5 has recently developed a problem where the pedals will keep on turning when the C5 is in motion - either coasting or under electric power. If I try stopping the pedals with my feet, the bearing/freewheel becomes audible with a slight drone.

Anyone experienced this previously?

Try some oil in the cog on the rear axle - Marty

Thanks - sprayed it with some WD40 (not ideal but that was all I had) and the freewheel seems to be functioning correctly again.
