Now The project must be to get this one restored. Any tips, spare parts, technical info etcetera are welcome.
Have to realize a new battery pack, repair the controller and find a driving belt with roll.

Hope anyone can help me out with this one.

Frank - have you considered buying the two in France ? You could make two running zikes out of the three and sell one to recoup your expenses ,leaving one as a spares donor.

Hello Radiomarty,

That sounds like good news. I definitely need a new control-board for my Zike.
But I haven't found this fellow on E-Bay so far. So if you do have an address or something, let me know. I will then try to contact him.
By the way, I need a new battery-pack as well. Any suggestions are welcome.

Trying driving around on tmy Zike I found out that the strain on my wrist will make my Zike ride a hell for me.
No shock-absorbing or whatever. In short, I traded my Zike and now have a extra Sinclair that will rock you all when finished.
Working hard to make it representable I'll show you the results soon.

But BooBoo,

The Zike was not thrown away, Alwin "Quasimodo" is now the owner of this Zike. He will probably turn it into something special ;D
For me, with my specific handicap, it was no success at all. :-\
But I do not complain, I do have four different C5's now.
1. out of the box original with all options. Mirrors, indicator, seat-booster, horn-kit, mud flaps, high-viz mast, side panels and a original C5 coat.
2. 24 volt + hand-throttle "speedmachine".
3. 24 volt 750 watt "tractorpulling" C5 with reverse, cruise-control, corner and tilting sensor. Brake lights, temperature sensor etc. etc.
4. 12 volt + hand-throttle 7 gears superbike. (with T-Ford horn and purple neon lights)

They all have horn-kits, mirrors, high-viz masts and mud flaps.

And three more C5's for future improvements, spareparts, experiments.
2 more" with 7 gears, ready to be sold to two other handicapped people, wanting to improve their physical condition while having fun/transport.

So, still going strong on this side.
