With the test hill, did you all start with peddle or electric power ?
That 1 - in - 4 bit looks horrible ( might try it in a car next year ), so to get close to it must have taken some effort  ;D

...ordinarily you are not permitted a "run up" , the rules of the Hill are that it is a standing start only.

After Martins pleading on our behalf, I think the Brooklands staff took pity on us and allowed us a running start - using everything you could manage  ;D

It was really hard work, even my 24v didn't get to the top - but it might have if someone fitter/lighter was using it....

.....plus correctly fitting the quick release battery clamp on my left hand battery would have helped  ::) :D

My pleasure, I guess it's my way of giving somthing back to the site that has given me so much help and enjoyment.

I will do a longer version on DVD for you and post it back with the drivers if you like.

I thought it best to do that one first and I'll work on the other this week.

The camera got passed a round quite a bit on the day, so there's no telling who filmed what , other than Kurt's brother (also called Karl) who filmed most of the last part - best cameraman of the day ;D

Umpa wasn't given the best of raw materials, so a good effort on his part  8)

Just re-watched the footage of this , a real shame we didn't have "challenger" available for this run - but then it was this event that was the inspiration for building challenger in the first place  ;D

Bring on the TARDIS ... 8)
