I'm hoping to get to Brooklands soon to iron out a few more details for this event .
Firstly, I need a rough idea of how many people are likely to attend
and bring a c5 with them - please start letting me know asap. I'd like to see at least 25 c5's at the event - it would make for an awesome photo-shoot.
Secondly, I feel we should put together a programme of events to give the day more structure. We know the museum officially opens at 10am and closes at 4pm , so we need to list what we will be doing between those times.
Let me have your thoughts and ideas on how to make this event worthy of its place in history
To start with;
The list of people and C5's attendingMe & Angie : six and a half c5's - "voodoo" , "moneypit", "malcolm", "Dave" , "virgin" ,"half-pint" & "challenger"
Kurt - plus 1 c5 "jetpac"
Radiomarty (& family) - plus 1 c5
Proposed "Programme of events"10am -doors open .
11am - umpa's powerpoint
1pm - C5 maintenance demo/talk (using "half-pint")
2pm - repeat of umpa's powerpoint
3.30pm - event close
Andy will have his retro games display, plus c5martin has suggested we hold a repeat of the hillclimb attempt and the outside demo in the usual "playpen" (subject to the weather) .
This is just the first thoughts and will be changed/updated as ideas come forward
