Strange tool from sinclair toolbox.
« on: 30, October, 2010 - 19:45:43 »
Hello there,

I do have two questions, the first one is this one. I found a Sinclair toolbox at a gararesale, but I don't have a clue what it is for. Any body knows?

It is the second thing from above, under the tube.
Next question, on the same Sale I found two Sinclair C5 raincoats, since it rained today, I tried one of them on. But how do you attache this front flap to the C5? Do i need to put velcro on my Sinclair? I felt kind of stupid folding it around my legs :-[
. The flap is inside on this picture.
could use some advise ???

The raincoats also rely on you having side panels fitted I believe, so without those they'll only protect you vertically and not from lateral weather.

Yes thats pretty much it, the rain coat & tonnau were to be used with side panels, plus the panels and mirrors make the C5 look well cool.

Sinclair tried to promote the jacket as a high fashion item in its day. Kangaroos probably thought they were cool.

Well, if some of you guys could get me those side panels and mirrors as well I would be much obliged. Suggestions where to get them are welcome as well of course.   :)

That's the problem now. I got mine brand new old stock from Adam Harper when he attended some meetings. I'm not sure what he's doing these days, I'm not sure were else you could get them from apart from eBay ect.
