Slightly expensive set of indicators?
« on: 01, April, 2012 - 19:50:38 »
Just found these on eBay... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Sinclair-C5-Full-Set-Indicators-/230770855030?pt=UK_Collectables_OtherTransportation_RL&hash=item35bb03cc76 Slighlty on the expensive side, especially as a brand new kit sold on eBay about a month ago for slightly less.

Hi all, look at this auction:

http://www.ebay.es/itm/130560949582?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1423.l2649#ht_7140wt_1029

Is a "Buy now" auction so you can get four led indicators and the flasher with beep sound included in 15 pounds, +/-. I´ve bought a set to put in my C5, I´ll receive in a few days and I´ll put here some piccies to show you the result.

Regards, Rafael

Is that expensive? I offered £20 for the one that was on eBay yesterday, but someone clicked 'Buy It Now' before the seller contacted me.

I seen 2nd hand horns go for under £10 within last 6 months. For a better noticeable horn :

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-MOTORCYCLE-HORN-E-MARKED-LOUD-105DB-1-5A-MOTORBIKE-BIKE-SCOOTER-UPGRADE-NEW-/220964328368?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item33728013b0

and a simple button :

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/12V-PUSH-BUTTON-SWITCH-HORN-CAR-DASH-12-VOLT-/280764355506?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item415edc13b2

Just look out for a c5 micro switch from the power/go handle bar and use that. IMO the horn is something that you cannot see, you are not meant to anyway.... Only just to hear it. With the original horn you would not be heard in traffic or even if someone nearby sneezed ! Get something with oomph !
