Lit-up like a Christmas tree !
« on: 24, January, 2014 - 10:07:21 »
Hi all,
The ongoing quest to power up the new c5 continues ...I have now replaced the faulty resistor and diode in the control box and repalced R21 in the pod. I checked the voltage in the CB voltage regulator and that's fine, i have power (5V) to the pod but ALL led's are lit and stay that way regardless of motor load or battery condition.
Is there another possible fault in the CB or pod or is the ULA duff ??
Any ideas ?

Prime suspects in the control box - op amp or one of the 3 transistors - also check pins in pod for dry joints - failing that it would point to the ULA - Marty

I have the same pod problem. I got a new control box off ebay and it made no difference. So I will eventually make a custom pod.
In the meantime you solve it let us know .
