A Corbin Sparrow.
Looks like a C5 but a bit more like a real car.

My thoughts are that they're nice, but curious to know the price. The C5 was technically the first 'velocycle', and a recent Google shows lots of companies making similar powered bicycle attempts like the one you've shown. Only three out of a list of about 30 companies brought up a price. One, made in Germany, was over €4,000. One, British, similar to yours was about £2,500. The cheap exception was the Sinclair X1 at £599. So yep, pretty, but show me a price before I open my chequebook ;-)

One thing on that site I find interesting is it states under specifications "registers, insures and parks as a motorcycle". Presumably then you'd also need to tax it and need a motorbike licence or cbt to ride it? I'm then struggling to see the market audience. The C5/X1 draw is viat there's no insurance, no licence, no registration... With the Sparrow why would a motorbike licence holder choose one, or why would you go through an expensive test just to ride one? I don't understand what it's set out to achieve other than being an electric motorbike.

Yes you needed a bike licence. No helmet though apparently. They sold for $15 - $40,000!!

Hey, I'd buy one for $15 8)

They would go at highway speeds, offer weather protection, and I think they are still made by a firm called Myers. Battery management problems seem to engage the minds of most Sparrow owners judging by their forum,; battery replacement costs probably eat up all the fuel cost savings.

They look like something you would see in a cartoon ;)
