Absolutely, I understand. I was after more of a generalised experience-based view really. Maybe I need an X-pod conversion user's view, to help me graphically assess the effects of environments on engine load and power drain?
For example, I am considering commuting using a C5, around 15 miles each way and mostly flat or shallow gradient main roads, but I wondered whether shallow uphill gradients absolutely sap the power, or just just consume a little faster. Also, I wondered whether modern batteries deliver ampage to the motor more consistently in combination with converted / updated wiring, which would mean the effects of terrain would sap the charge less.
I will know soon enough myself, when I get hands on with my new purchase, but I would like to temper my enthusiasm with a bit of realistic experience from others; perhaps my plan to commute is a non-starter if there really isnt a viable range in the battery and motor.
