Checked Ebay, this has now ended with no bids.

Now relisted at £1999

So, looks like its a pseudo dutch auction - how low does it need to go before people start to bite?

I think if it was around £1000 I'd go for it, but anything above that is just silly (especially considering you don't know what condition the thing inside is in!)

If you do end up buying it and intend to use it I would strongly recommend replacing the tyres and tubes - they will be well past their best by now. Plus, regreasing the gearbox would be a good thing.

If it was just for show, like my "new" one , then I'd leave it alone and just admire it  :)

The relisted box, http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220591751822 will be finished this time tomorrow.

I still think the seller is dreaming on anything over £1000 and thats pushing it.

So, will it be relisted again tomorrow.. £1750?

I actually sent the guy a message asking why he wanted so much for it, when people could buy them direct from Sinclair Vehicles for about £1,200 (give or take).

He replied to say 'and your point is'?

My 'point' is that you can buy them cheaper in the same condition (possibly better), and therefore, you're asking too much - and therefore, chances of getting the money you seek are slim.

All the same however, it does make interesting viewing!

I reckon the price is now right and I would if I could, but if I did I'd talk in a much higher voice when I told the wife.

I dunno, still a bit steep for me. If it hits 1k i'll buy it and use it but probably be sold pretty damn sharpish if it does hit that.

Now re-listed at 99p, but reserve not met. Who's betting the reserve is still £1500? :)

I'm still procrastinating... In reality I don't think I can justify it :( It would be incredibly cool though!

I reckon the reserve is somewhere in the region of £1000 or £1250, I see its got bids, can't wait to see who buys it, please make a video of the opening of the box  :)
