I am arranging the Norfolk Run a little earlier this year,if it does not clash with to many events.
I think that October 3rd. would be a good choice,as there is more chance of some end of summer sunshine.
I hope some of you will be able to make it.
All the best,Ray.
note: date amended to 10th Oct
-
Put me down for that ... :D
-
i'll likely be up for this one, but will confirm nearer the time.

Me + 1 :)
-

Usually about 12miles.
-
If anyone needs a spare battery, just to play safe,I have a couple.
I allways take two,as I am not a fan of pedaling,LOL.
-
It looks like I'm going to have to pull out of Ray's run on Sunday, as it looks like its going to be the last chance we will get to take the kids to Drayton Manor theme park, we have had the tickets since August, but the weeks keep flying past and its either been raining or when it has been nice one of us are working, plus for a couple of weeks I did'nt feel up to much after having the nose operation, the tickets need to be used before the end of October and can't see us going
any other time.
Retro Andy.

hi guys, going to have to drop out.
just been so busy this week and out again tomorrow to Thame, so early start late back all to see grandkids.
i've had no chance to check/prepare C5's, one needs a rear brake cable both could use rear tyres, not sure in their condition if they will do 10 miles, and i can't even get the van emptied out unless i get up at 5am Sunday no way that going to happen lol!.
enjoy yourselves and ride safe
Alan
so will have to be next meet, sorry folks
-
Both C5s are now in the bus ready for tomorrow! Batteries are on charge.
I still have my wheel issue - so thee may be the need for a mini tech session before we get on the road. Is anybody bringing any spares? I may need a bearing..
-
Have one in the car and one on the trailer - all ready for the last one of the year - Mike if I remember i'll grab some bearings on the way out .
-
Ah brilliant thanks mate! I'm hoping the wheel has just been over-tightened.
-
Ray - Tried phoning you but not getting an answer, a bit of disappointing news mate. My mum is still in hospital so I won't be able to make the run tomorrow. She was due to be released today (meaning I could have been free for the run) but they've decided to keep her in an extra night. Since she has had both feet operated on I need to be there to collect her if she is released tomorrow - didn't feel right suggesting she get a taxi so I could go on a c5 run :o.
Really, really sorry to let you down...especially as the date was moved to fit in with my shifts.
Feeling quite low at the moment :(

Just got back.
Ray, thanks for making us all very welcome, the run was great and for once without major incident!
Lovely weather, nice pub, nice scenery. Couldn't ask for more really
And a nice post run tech session too!
Didn't take any pics sadly but plod took loads!
-
Glad you enjoyed it mate.
-
Great day at Ray's run. We carried lot's of spares ie Pods, control boxes, wheels, inner tubes ,Chains and even a backlight (Mike ?) but not one no not one breakdown. Ray thank you for the hospitality, chips , drinks , sausage rolls etc and putting on a nice collection display you were a star. Great weather allowed us to even have a little group tech section investigating Rays noisy gearbox which sadly had to have a new outer case but was very quickly repaired by Plod and his purple gloves !! Altogether a great day and a good end to 2010 season Video later but some snaps for now:

Thanks for fixing my gearbox Plod.
I think it would have failed on the next run,if you had not spotted the missing teeth.

This is a sample of the C5 cam attached to the front of my C5 last Sunday ... Its ok until you move off, then it vibrates quite a bit, i will look at mounting it in e ther way for future meets.
I have also uploaded some video from my other camera, but its still being processed by You tube, so may be a while before it shows up on my profile.
