Looks a great day out, hope the sun stays out for you, it looks a bit like the visitor's centre at Thetford forest, but we paid £6.00 to park there last week, but there's plenty for the kids (and dads) to play on, etc. Have a great day, I have to work later, but I am meeting up with another C5 owner today first, look forward to all the pictures.

Retro Andy.

We had a great day - met at our place for brecky then on to Stanwick Lakes for the run - Once unpacked we stuck my trailer inside Karls bus ! and off on the run - Wouldn't be the same with out a challenge and Money pit decided to shed its drive belt early on - quick replacement from Plods spares and off we went - Due to the wind it turned a wee bit dusty and the c5's soon took on that off road look - then disaster a broken axle - rather than lose one of the c5's we decided to strip it down while i nipped home and picked up a spare - rebuild complete off we went on a great but dusty run !!! Not forgetting Goldfingers battery clamps falling off twice !!Sun held out and a great day followed by a bit of 24v volt testing to finish the day - thanks all for coming. Now off to sort Goldfingers battery clamps that just didn't want to stay attached !!!!!!

Thanks to Marty for arranging this superb run  ;), but especially to Mrs Radiomarty for opening the c5alive cafe - superb butties  8)

Must say I was most impressed with the new "Radiomarty c5 courier service" .There can't be many vehicles out there that can have a rear axle delivered and fitted by the roadside  ;D The invoice is on its way to "rentboy"Dave , I've decided to blame him for the failure mainly because he used "moneypit" last ,but more importantly because he wasn't there to defend his reputation  :D. As for "moneypit", I think it was merely communicating to me it's need for a bit of servicing - thinking back I've fallen into the trap that because it's always been so reliable I've never looked after it. Shameful , especially as it was last properly serviced in 2006 and has since done virtually every c5alive run (including London-Brighton)  :o
"Voodoo" on the other hand performed really well, I think the new gearing on the Dragon Technology gearbox & motor combo is spot on - the testing went very well and will continue at Santa Pod and a few other events before we're completely satisfied.

Good to see Ray and Plod joining in the fun as well, but best of all was seeing Mrs Radiomarty's "c5 grin" as she went whizzing by on "Voodoo".

A fab day out all round....no piccies though coz our camera also gave up the ghost - some days just don't go as planned  :P
