Topic: Rear Brake locking up Sir !

Looking forward to this Brighton meeting (like all the others).

I was deciding which C5 to take, so I got on them (one at a time) lol, and found that marks C5's rear brake was really fierce, so no time like the present, I took the wheel off to sand the shoes, and found that the little circlip that holds the shoes in was missing on this one too !! (it was missing on my other C5 too)

As luck has it I had another PC chair that has a circlip that fits (I used the other on the other C5), and after fitting the rear lockup had vanished.  So whilst other things may cause the rear wheel to lock on applying the brake, you might want to look see if you have a circlip fitted.

I don't have a picture to show you but the circlip fits on the right had top pinion.
