Another one from my Rotterdam trip , as advertised in the c5alive "shop" side;

A recently overhauled "used" c5 up for sale , with the following work completed on it ;
Chassis shot blasted, followed by three stage paint process of primer , top coat and lacquer.
Rear chassis "hoop" shot blasted and repainted
Front forks shot blasted and repainted
Front brake caliper shot blasted and repainted
Motor and gearbox assembly dismantled, cleaned and re-greased
New drive belt
New brake cables
New front brake blocks
New decals on the wheel trims
New side stripes
Replacement inner tubes (all three wheels)
Front wheel bearings re-greased
Front fork assembly re-greased
Handlebar stem bearings re-greased
The all important C5alive wiring kit fitted.
This c5 retains the original headlight decals and Sinclair "Vee Rubber" tyres as I wanted to keep it as original as possible.
As to be expected, the bodyshell has some deep scratches in the usual places - front "corners" , underneath and around the seat etc. Overall this is a nice and tidy c5 ready for use with a fully working control box and pod. Both the lights are in full working order and both lenses are in a good condition

Thanks Chas, like you say they do take a lot of time and effort to get them "just right" but it's always nice to see them back to their former glory 8)

This c5 is still up for grabs...
Just out of interest I am off to Newport (South Wales) on Tuesday 16th. So if there's a potential buyer living along the route between Crawley and Newport then free delivery could be arranged ;D

..a very pleasant journey as well, surprisingly not a single delay/hold up on the entire round trip ! Sometimes the motorway network does work as well as it should ;D
As for this c5, history did indeed repeat itself. Having sat for sale for a number of weeks, once it sold I received four more enquires for it :D

Well I can promise it's gone to a good home - new battery still hasn't arrived so haven't had a proper drive yet.

No , yours has a c5alive wiring kit fitted so the order of fitting the terminals makes no difference - but it wont run if you get them the wrong way round. It is easier to fit the one that slides under the edge of the seat first but that is just down to ease of use and not a technical requirement :)

I remember that photo-shoot ;D , see he only managed to include the rear wheel of my lovely 4x4 :D
It's a small world , I've meet the guy "anachrocomputer" at some of the BVS events - say "Hi" from me if you meet him 8)
If I say so myself, your newly acquired c5 does look good mate :).

It does - and is working top notch.
Been getting me to and from work as well as the odd meeting most days a week and isn't struggling. The battery is doing better now too.
