I've received the following email from a gent living not too far from me ;
Dear Karl,
I was given your contact details by John Pulford at Brooklands. I have in my possession the 'unique' (and slightly bizarre) Sinclair C5 'Gran Turismo' (pictures attached)! This vehicle has an obscure history, but was as I understand it built by a German enthusiast, and initially displayed in a German motor museum before finding its way to a Scottish museum, and thence to me. It is interesting, if rather Heath Robinson, and working, although it requires some work to the drive belt. I also have a 'standard' C5 (working, although with a battery that holds almost no charge - and I only have one key between both of these vehicles!). Both of these vehicles are for sale, and I wondered if you would know of anyone likely to be interested? I am based in East Molesey.
..from the piccies attached to the email (not shown here) it is Ray's old "Ubmobile". I'm so glad to see it has survived and is still in one piece. I'm hoping he will be placing it up for sale on our website, just awaiting his reply.
