i would also add, the pressure on goverment to improve junctions for cyclists is also gathering apace. while we need no test or training to ride a bike casualties will not be reduced. the times i see cyclist flash through red lights, not give way to pedestrian crossings and if you dare bib your horn, you invite a rightious lambasting.
another thread in here pointed out the leagle kerb weight restriction, if you think deeper it was one if the main reasons for the early of the C5 as design had to get under this restriction.
any epweight increase could have allowed a higher degree of both safety and durability, through better batteries, motor, brakes, lights, wheels - need i go on?
perhaps it should be suggested to the students, to allow them to enjoy green fun transport, these limitations should be adjusted in the current fuel and climatic times?
