Horn

Hi Gang,

I have fitted two horn kits (from Adam Harper) and followed the instructions and can say they work a treat.

On 'Huey' my original C5 with a wiring kit fitted when I switch it off the horn won't sound if the button is pressed.

On  'Dewey' my - well our Marks C5; with original battery loom, the horn works when switched off with the battery block still connected.

Is this normal ? seems as tho part of the C5 is still live even tho its switched off? - also the pod remembers its battery state so you cant switch off to reset the pod if the battery runs low.

It's not a problem but I wonder if its normal or do I have a fault ?

thanks

Ian
