Well, I finally got around to it, my other time eater is my collection of arcade games!

In my current collection I have:

outrun
multi-game machine (60 in 1)
crazy taxi
hangman quiz game
crystal maze quiz / prize game
gauntlet
marble madness
operation wolf
pacman tabletop

Hopefully will get more soon!

Great collection, Outrun ! "what a classic" really look forword to coming and seeing them one day, if you can find a tupney nudger my wife always loved playing that, You've got to get Chase HQ

True - modern stuff is far more compact, but older stuff still has a certain appeal. For example, my jukebox is huge considering it only holds 60 records. The crackle and hiss of the needle might not be to every ones taste, but I prefer the "experience" of listening to records over cd's...I reckon it's probably the same with Mikes arcade games. Digital copies just aren't the same

You are totally right Karl

for me its the whole experience, the rubbish picture on the screen, putting the 10p in, the pedals, the BIG joysticks, the big heavy GUN (in the case of the operation wolf), the steering wheels, big trackballs, big buttons, heavy duty rock solid stuff that isn't just going to break if you step on it!

Also, the machines themselves, the artwork, the shapes, just lovely.

We have a wii and about 90 games. Can't remember the last time it was played..
