I ordered a new exhaust yesterday and cleaned up the rear wheel rim and painted the spokes on both wheels - this really transformed the overall look of the 'bike. I also wire brushed and painted the centre & kick stands as they were also quite rusty.

Ordered a new rear mudguard earlier today, managed to find a UK company selling them for £30 incl. P&P. Once that arrives I'll look into booking it into the bodyshop for welding and, if I can afford it, painting.
