That doesn't look in bad shape. How many c5's do you actually own?
-
Hi there I own 5 brand new old stock .+ Three 24 volt one's +Two petrol / 12 volt motors one's + One 3 speed sturmey archer +Two original one's in very good condition ...And always room for more. And enough spares for at least another 5 complete one's .And enough spares to last a life time ...(But will need more body's complete..)
bye Chas
-
wow. I am very impressed!
Are the new old stock ones boxed?
I would love a brand new one!
Amazing collection, would love to have a go on the various ones.
Thanks
Simon

There's a new one on eBay at the moment : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/SINCLAIR-C5-AS-NEW-UNUSED-RECOMMENDED-/121005027993?pt=Automobiles_UK&hash=item1c2c763299

Not that I am in anyway an expert but after looking at prices and things recently I thought this one was a bit over priced.
For anything approaching £1000 wouldn't you expect it to be boxed?
Simon
-
At what point did they change the boot colour? I thought the early models were dark.
-
Hi as you said the price is high I do not think it will sell for that ..But who know's ??????????

Here are some more photo's

Here are some more photo's ...
Testing the electronics before putting the body on...
Also tested the pod and when the voltage dropped down to 10.5volt the alarm sounded for about 10 sec then the power to the motor cut out just as it should do ...
And can you see the original C5 Battery .....Still working great ..
-
So it is possible that the original battery will still work?
Mine came with the original Oldham battery, it was bone dry so I filled it with boiled water and put it on charge.
To my amazement it charged up. Is it possible it will be ok?
Chas, what do you use to clean the body?
Thanks
Simon
