'Umpa' - come on down !
Yes I have just bought another C5. It's chassis is in mint condition, it has original tires, and wiring loom. It's a compleat c5 as delivered when new. I need to clean her up a bit and get a few bits and bobs, sort out the control box, but other than that it's In mint condition.
I fitted a battery 038 with battery top, turned the key the lights are on but no one is home, the pod don't light up and she just clicks when you press the button. The pod is fine so it must be the control box.
This one was going to be the one I mod, spray red - 24v etc. But now I just don't have the heart, and once again must be kept original :)
I'll post some pics when I get the chance.
Regards
Ian

Wow, not just a C5 owner, but now a C5 collector, i would have to to buy two more before i would modify one, one would have to mint just to keep, not to use and the other to modify just for the fun of it, but the overall look would be the same just electric's, gears and brakes would be improved, well done Umpa on the purchase of your second C5, please post some pictures.

Hi Guys,
Well I have greased the bearings, replaced the inner tubes, put a cable tie around the motor fence, given the old gal a clean. Rubbed the shoes and drum up.
Using an 038 with battery top & ignition block - been for a spin and all is fine.
I have not bothered doing anything to the motor, that's for another day (seems more than fine though).
One thing that's strange is that when you switch the ignition off, the pod remembers the battery state for when you switch it back on, only resetting if you remove the ignition block - is this normal behaviour ?
Speed wise its the same as my other, and the current load is the same too meaning nothing is seazed.
here's some pics

Still can't believe how lucky I was to get it and in such an original condition, I have done the by now standard CO-OP run in it (to test the boot lol ), and its all good.
Now I need a working original charger - another set of side panels etc lol.
If anyone can help me out with a charger - that would be cool.
