Checking out Ebay, as you do, I noticed this C5;
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/EX-RARE-SINCLAIR-C5-NEAR-MINT-NEW-CONDITION_W0QQitemZ390046829576QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_Collectables_Bicycle_RL?hash=item390046829576&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=72%3A1684%7C66%3A2%7C65%3A12%7C39%3A1%7C240%3A1318

..according to the text this one has reverse  :o

I would love to own "as new" one and keep it safe like a virgin rare stamp. But then i would like about four c5's :- A new one, the one i restored, one like voodoo, and one to modify.

Agreed. I'd just have the C5 production line directed into my garage...  ::)

I want a Reversing C5!  ;D

Actually, The "working" C5 i bought a few months ago is still with Alan, he was going to send the pod and control box along with his to Martin for testing, though i hear he's moved house and probably not got round to it! I really should call him.

We got a far as puttting on some new rear tyres. It's been converted and has an air horn.

I'm really thinking of selling it now as i've not even had a ride in it yet, also it's in Cambridge and i'm in Hampshire with no space to keep it down here.

I've also just bought a 1940's cyclemaster!!!

Thought i better put the word out on the forum and let you guys know before i slap her on ebay. Actually i shall start a new post... C5 for sale!

Or are you going to convince me to keep her?

Yes he has confused 'R' - remove for 'R' reverse, still 500 is the going rate for a mint C5

Edit :-

I think the 'R' means run after a re think and the 'I' is insert.
