Hope you've got good brakes .... or are you going for all 3 wheels off the ground when you hit the peak of the hill  :D :D

Emily's just figured out how you're getting to the top of the hill   ;D

Scary ! :P

scary indeed - you want to hear this thing going along at full pelt  8)

Like the winch idea, might use that as a back-up plan  ;D

Project C5 was fantastic, really good job. I think if you can go on and develop one with more of the original C5 workings, but with that sort of speed, you would be able to sell a few kits Karl  ;D.

Many a true word said in jest matie  :o

....Dave and I might just have a small winter project in mind - you never know what is going on behind the scenes  8) ;D

After building "challenger" and thoroughly enjoying himself in the process, I do know that "electric Dave" has certainly got the C5 bug and is already talking about doing something special again for next years Brooklands event  :)

As i missed out on seeing 'Challenger ' in the flesh, i just wondered what exactly did you do to make it that good at hill climbing, or is it a secret  :D

Daz

Karl

No secret mate - just a much bigger motor (with fan assisted cooling) and chain drive conversion , coupled to a much stronger chassis holding two larger batteries , all put together by a genius called "electric Dave"  8)

Plus the driving skills of our very own "The Stig"  ;D
