Post by: c5martin on 28, April, 2008 - 19:56:55
The Horsham C5 PUB RUN 2 Start 11am (RH13 0LY)
Well it’s 14Mls with a number of places to stop on route. First stop the George and Dragon Pub with very good food and beer
garden. There are some hills to climb and also some hills to go down especially Bonfire Hill towards the end of your journey.
To calm your nerves we can also stop at the Bax Castle Pub which proved very popular last time.
You will need a good battery or two average ones.

I have thought about it ever since I met a few of you in Wales.

I will have to wait to see what happens with work ie :- where in the country I will be , but once that is sorted I would be more than happy to host a meeting.

I could provide some accomodation I have a caravan , tent and I could possibly persuade the Kids to stay at their mates.

I will keep you informed

Fingers crossed the weather is kind to you tomorrow, I wanted to join you, but my other half has started her own business recently, and we have got loads still to sort out. Also someone at work has had problems with his car today and i have to cover tomorrow for him, the extra money will help at the moment.
So have fun and put some photos on the forum as soon as possible.

cheers guys, after Wales and the last Crawley run I'm sure we can cope with a few drops of rain.

Martin and I are still trying to decide which Pub we shall honour with our presence   ;D

Looking good so far for a good ride out, even longer than the last Horsham run  :o

Looks like the sun came out in the end, and the food looks nice, so i guess you had a good run, looking forward to seeing you at the royal run.

Retro Andy

P.S. I will contact Karl for some new rear tyres etc to bring along.

Had a great time despite the best the weather had to throw at us.
Really pleased with the latest upgrades to Jetpac and that the new homebrew indicators worked a treat.
A massive thanks to both Karl and Martin with help on my wheel bearing problem and for the new wider drive belt which made a nice improvement.
Really must have another go at Bonfire hill, what a hoot! With extra terror from excessive speed and non existent brakes in the wet!

See you all soon, Kurt.
