Sunday was a great day, the sun came out and i had a great time, it was great a see everyone again, and to see new face's also. I cant wait to see the dvd Martin's son was filming, the best for me was the mile race, obviously.
It was good to meet Adam Harper and we all got a great deal on the items we bought, the whole day was fantastic, its just a shame my chain came off on the hill climb attempt, i'll have another go next year.

Yo ! Karl

Am I right in thinking that nobody managed the hill climb and that the set of tyres are back in the C5alive maximum security vault !  :D

Nope - I gave them to Ray for making it the furthest up the hill  ;)

....after he got out of his C5 and collapsed onto his knees I thought he needed some good news to revive him  ;D :D

I'd just like to say a big thanks to everyone for making me feel welcome, and especially Karl for letting me spend half the day zooming about in stripy!

Oh, and for causing maximum entertainment with the only successful handbrake turn on the skid pain... Even if it did result in one less wheel than when he started! I think a special build stunt C5 is required...  ;)

Many pictures to follow when I finish sorting them out.

As for my brother, we've doubled his medication!

Hi,
My son has finished editing the DVD approximately 12Min's long.

It starts with C5ALIVE stand with lots of activity on getting all the C5's ready.
Next moves to the original Brooklands track for drive by in formation.
The C5 race on the Mercedes test track and skid pan and finally the hill climb.

Karl has a preview copy that he will bring to the meeting for all to see.

The finished DVD will be in the shop in 7 to 14 days Price will be £5 plus postage.

Yep - it was a fab day  8)

Looking at the number of viewings this topic has received, a lot of people have enjoyed a taster of what the day was like.

The good news is that any one who regrets having missed this event now gets another chance , because we've been invited back - full details in the meetings section.

This gets my vote as one of the best C5 events ever.

Nice piccies mate     ;)
